Tune:Green Lane Reminisce

(Come and listen to a story...that I have to tell)

On this night of singing friendship

Let us reminisce

'Bout a land we know as Green Lane

And summers spent in bliss

Sit back and close your eyes now

And picture this with me

See the children playing

Hear the harmony of Camp Green Lane

Sunrise in the morning

We wake up on each day

As nature's golden beauty

Guides us 'long the way

There's no place we love more than this

There ain't no better home

A place with so much loving

You'll never be alone at Camp Green Lane

On this night of singing friendship

Let us reminisce

'Bout a land we know as Green Lane

And summers spent in bliss

We all want to return here

After summers go by

Whenever we remember

Tears come to our eyes we miss Green Lane

Then winter comes upon this land

And snow covers the ground

But that's just on the surface

Beneath it love's still found

Green Lane is very special

And what it means to me

Is more than just my campfriends

It's a summer family

At Camp Green Lane

(SLOW) We gather 'round the circle

On the last of our summer days

Step on up into the bus

All that's left is one more gaze

One last look out the window

As our bus turns down the road

Underneath the arches

Away from our summer home

Camp Green Lane

(Repeat first verse)
