TUNE - SAME OLD LANG SYNE

We remember camping days gone by

Thinking of moments we hold dear

This place where love and friendships never die

Lifting hearts and soothing fear.

Seems like yesterday that we arrived

We weren't sure just what to say

But then the bonds were formed and friends were made

And our worries went away.

CHORUS:

Through winter months we shed a tear

We miss our summer home

But then we think of Camp Green Lane

And we're not so alone.

We think of friends that we have made

And memories we hold dear

The special times that we have shared

Will warm us through the year.

Look out on emerald fields as children play

The warmth encircling our hearts

Enjoy the freedom in each summer day

Before the winter starts.

In camp we feel a sense of timelessness

Where youth and simple wisdom reign

The love we feels not easy to express

We cherish dear Green Lane.

CHORUS:

Through winter months we shed a tear

We miss our summer home

But then we think of Camp Green Lane

And we're not so alone,

We think of friends that we have made

And memories we hold dear

The special times that we have shared

Will warm us through the year.

The summers quickly drawing to a close

The memories made won't disappear

And soon we'll turn to make our way back home

But we'll return next year.
